Our History​

Latinas Australia Pty Ltd was founded in 1971 as the import division of Faigen Handbags, an Australian household fashion name serving the leather goods and accessories market since 1928.​

​

With over 40 years worth of offshore manufacturing experience we have established strong relationships with factories in both northern and southern China which, work intimately with our Hong Kong office.

Since gaining corporate independence from Faigen Handbags, Latinas has moved into the sportswear and lifestyle market designing and manufacturing goods for international brands such as Reebok, Le Coq Sportif, Henleys, Speedo and Saucony.​

We have however continued to maintain the connection to our roots in the leather and fashion bags market, developing contemporary ranges for clients such as The Strandbags Group and Glue stores.

Latinas is a legacy of four generations of Australian business and is still owned and operated by the Faigen family.
